In August of 2009 One World Sports (OWS) produced a 3-day shoot in Kenya as players from Uganda and Kenya attempted to qualify for the main Basketball Without Borders camp in Johannesburg, South Africa. Then in September, OWS brought one camera crew and hired a local camera crew in Johannesburg, for the main camp. In addition to shooting, OWS produced and edited a 30-minute program as well as a series of one-minute vignettes centered around the feeder camps and the primary camp for Basketball Without Borders - Africa. OWS focused on several players from Uganda and Kenya as they made their journey to Joburg. While in Joburg, the week of basketball and cultural activities was showcased as players learned about basketball from some of the NBA's best, while taking in important life skills lessons along the way.
